Quality Management Systems Training

A rigorous approach to Quality Assurance (QA) in conjunction with adequate and appropriate training will contribute significantly to reducing error and loss – such as: incidents, liability, injury and ultimately - fatality. The typical course applicant can be experienced or novice in Quality Systems and/or SMS; however, a strong desire to learn is essential. The course is designed to meet and exceed the TC CAR requirements for QA training for all types of Certificate Holders from Airports, to AMO’s, to Flight Operators to ATO’s. The object of the course is to provide sufficient knowledge and competence to allow a person to:

  • design and implement a QMS suitable to their own operational needs;

  • understand the relationship between QMS and SMS;

  • understand and conduct a Quality Audit;

  • review and improve their existing QMS

  • understand what a SMS PVI entails and what the auditor/process is looking for;

  • understand and provide comprehensive Risk Assessments as a component of a SMS and/or QMS;

  • know and understand the basic evolution of quality

  • understand the dynamic connection to business development and sustainability

  • understand the importance of quality records/data with regard to proof of compliance within an oversight framework

  • understand and write effective Findings & Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
